Runners of the Burns Park Run can help our school and the programs our PTO supports, as well as other charities. In 2011, you can also raise money for your own school! Some of our kids have learned a lot about charity... click to listen to their words here: On Mott Children's Hospital At the Burns Park Run, consider signing up to RUN FOR A CHARITY to raise money for something you care about. Not sure? Choose one and sign up - you'll be able to decide later if you want to contact your friends - if not, no harm done. FUNDRAISING PAGES ARE SET UP - BUT WE CAN ADD MORE! And feel free to use the images and text at these pages if you wish to setup your own page through another fundraising site - like FIRSTGIVING.com. For 2011, our fundraising pages are NOT linked to registration... please sign up using the links on the right! 1. Register online for the BPR. 2. To help the charities to the right, you can email the link to the page using your own email, or setup a special page in your name and use the built in tools (requires an Active.com id.) 3. You will receive an email with your personal fundraising page information and two web links. 4. After hitting the first link, you can follow the instructions to enhance your fundraising page if you wish - but this is not required. We SUGGEST that you just add a brief personal message and a fundraising goal, for example. Be sure to save and preview. You'll have a page very similar to the base page! You can forward the link to this page with your own email system. 5. When done customizing, hit "Send Emails" to add friends' email addresses and a personal email message by following the simple instructions. That's it! Check back to your page and add emails or check progress anytime! |
