2021 INFORMATION - The Virtual Burns Park Run is a SIDEWALK run. This is not an event permitted by the City of Ann Arbor and participation is AT YOUR OWN RISK. Run aware and run safe. We encourage those comfortable with crowds to run between 8am and 10am on Race Day and, if not, avoid those times.
Start and Finish Area
Both the 5K and 10K start and finish near the corner of Wells St and Baldwin Ave. The 5K loop is shown below. The 10K is two loops on the same route. Participants travel counter-clockwise around the course.
Most of the course is flat, with the largest net elevation change on Shadford Rd, from Ferdon Rd to Harding Rd, followed by a lesser, but steeper incline immediately after turning onto Woodside Rd. The finish is a long gradual downhill, with a fast downhill from Ferdon Rd to the finish line.

The race START and FINISH are at the corner of Wells St. and Baldwin Ave. (1700 Wells St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104)
Most residents graciously remove their vehicles from the streets that make up the course loop. Because the course is a closed loop, barricades and street closures will occur that limit the amount of pass through prior to race start and during the race.
On race day, please park OUTSIDE the course loop or on streets and street sections that are NOT part of the course loop (see course maps above).
NOTE: If you choose to park or are parked INSIDE the closed loop, it may be necessary to wait until all participants have cleared the course prior to exiting. We (and the event participants) thank the community for their understanding and patience.
